How school libraries in DPS impact student learning
Effective school library programs can play an instrumental role in the educational development of our students. Both how the library is staffed and the quality of the resources in its collection are shown to play important roles in this process.
Schools that have hired teacher-librarians check out more books, score higher on standardized achievement tests in reading, and have higher SPF marks than schools without endorsed librarians. More info >>
